But this blog is not about those things, this is a blend two things I love - Food and Photography!
When I was younger I dreamt of living in a tiny village (imagine the villagers in Beauty and the Beast, singing and dancing through the streets) and owning the best little cake shop, because who doesn't want to be surrounded by cakes all day? Well, now that I'm older I know that;
I have NO self control when there is yummy food around me.
Sugar crashes aren't the most amazing feeling.
Traveling is far more of a priority!
My Plant Based lifestyle started in 2017, and as I've said before, I am imperfect. I guess in the way this website is also challenging me to make my desserts vegan (I keep on referring to sweet treats but that is because I find being vegetarian easy - for me, giving up dairy is the hard one...)
I also know how hard it is when you first start. We all have our favourite recipes from our childhoods that we suddenly "can't" have. I even thought about having "meat-Mondays" just to satisfy my cravings, but when Monday arrived I couldn't decide what to make because I wanted ALL of my childhood favourites! 🤣 After a few failed Mondays I started making the recipes and substituting the meat out. IT WORKS! All I was craving was the sauces and spices!
I've created this site so we can all change our favourite recipes into vegan favourites 😀
